What this audit cannot see (and ARTIC does)

A tool measures the technical side. What really gets you into Google and AI answers is strategy, content and authority.

  • Keywords and competitors

What your customers search for, who ranks for it today and where your opportunities are.

  • Real AI visibility

Whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity mention you when someone asks about what you sell. We measure it with SE Ranking.

  • Content strategy

Which pages and articles to create to answer the questions your customers ask.

  • Authority and links

Mentions, links and reviews that make search engines and AI trust you.

  • Search Console and GA4 data

Which pages are losing traffic, which searches bring customers and what converts.

  • Every page on the site

This audit looks at the URL you enter. In a project we crawl the whole site.

SEO and GEO: why Google alone is no longer enough

SEO works to get your website into Google results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) works to get you into the answers generated by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews.

Both start the same way: a website crawlers can read without obstacles. But GEO adds its own requirements: letting AI crawlers in through robots.txt, serving content without relying on JavaScript, an llms.txt file, structured data that defines your company as an entity, and question-and-answer content.

That is why this audit combines both: if the technical base fails, no strategy will work.

What the audit checks: all 100 points

Every check, grouped into 8 blocks. Performance and accessibility are measured by Google PageSpeed Insights; the rest by our server, the way a Google or AI crawler would see it.

GEO audit FAQs

What is a GEO audit?

It checks whether your website is ready to appear in the answers of generative AI engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews). It verifies that AI crawlers can access the site, that content reads without JavaScript, structured data, llms.txt and authority signals, on top of the technical SEO base.

Is the audit really free?

Yes. We do not ask for sign-up or an email to see the full result. If you want help fixing it, you can leave your details at the end.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO aims to rank in Google results; GEO aims to get you mentioned and cited in AI answers. They share the technical base, but GEO adds requirements such as allowing AI crawlers, llms.txt or structured question-and-answer content.

Does it analyse my whole website?

It analyses the URL you enter in depth (usually the home page) and, from there, robots.txt, the sitemap, llms.txt and a sample of links and images. Crawling every page, keyword and competitor needs a full audit like the ones we run in projects.

Why does my performance score change each time?

Performance data is measured live by Google PageSpeed Insights on a simulated phone. It varies a little with server and network load at that moment. Look at the trend, not at a point up or down.

Should I let GPTBot, ClaudeBot and other AI crawlers in?

If you want AI to know and recommend you, yes. Blocking them keeps your content out of their models and real-time search. In some cases (paid content, for instance) it makes sense to limit some; we can assess it with you.

What do you do with the URL I analyse?

We only use it to run the audit. We keep the result for 24 hours so the analysis is not repeated if you come back. We do not store personal data unless you fill in the form.
