What is the Digital Kit?

The Digital Kit is a government initiative that uses European Funds, and offers subsidies between €2000 and €12000 , aimed at digital modernization and improving the competitiveness of SMEs and the self-employed.

You will be able to access digitization solutions thanks to us, as we are an accredited digitizer agent.

This fits perfectly with ours  commitment to contribute to the implementation of digital solutions  in the market. That is why we have prepared a series of solutions that will make your company more competitive.

Who can apply for the Digital Kit grant?

The digital solutions of the Digital Kit are oriented to the needs of the  small businesses, micro-enterprises and self-employed workers  that belong to any sector or type of business. Companies will be able to use the Digital Kit Voucher following the criteria in this table:

  • Segment I : First call for companies with between 10 and less than 50 employees.

What are digital solutions and which are the most requested?

Digital solutions allow you to manage all the information related to the digital transformation of your business. Among the digital solutions most in demand by Spanish SMEs and freelancers are the creation of web pages, the creation of online stores and cyber security plans.

How do we help you create your website or online store?

Both our Website Kit and Online Store Kit include everything you need: hosting, email, domain... We even create and design your custom site or e-commerce according to the specifications you give us. For this reason, one of our colleagues will contact you to whom you can explain what your corporate visual identity is like, what objectives you want to achieve with your online project, how you imagine your website... He will advise you and create the your website or online store.

Once designed and published you can tell our colleague if you need to make any changes. The Kit includes 1 modification per month. If you need to do more, you can do them yourself because our tools are very easy to use.

From our company we help all businesses that belong to the business segments of the Spanish geography to be able to apply for and enjoy the Digital Kit subsidy.

  • Segment I : small and medium-sized companies from 10 to 49 employees.
  • Segment II : small companies or micro-companies with 3 to 9 employees.
  • Segment III : small businesses, micro-enterprises or freelancers.

Do you have to pay VAT on the Digital Kit?

The short answer is yes. Although companies benefiting from the Digital Kit receive financial aid to implement digital solutions, the current law stipulates that they must pay VAT on this aid. This VAT, however, can be deducted on the next tax return, offering significant relief to the beneficiaries.

What requirements must I meet to participate in the Digital Kit Program?

  • Be a small company, micro-company or self-employed (between 0 and 50 employees).
  • Be registered with Accelera Pime and perform the digital test.
  • Do not exceed the limit of small amounts (minimums).
  • Comply with the financial and cash limits that define the categories of companies.
  • Be registered and have the minimum seniority established by call.
  • Be aware of tax obligations and Social Security.
  • Not be subject to a pending recovery order from the European Commission that has declared aid illegal and incompatible with the common market.
  • Not incurring any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies.

What is the Accelera PIME Plan?

The AceleraPyme program belongs to the plan designed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation to provide digital solutions to maintain activity and enhance the digital transformation processes of SMEs and the self-employed.

Specifically, this program is developed by Red.es and is part of the Digitalization Plan for SMEs 2021-2025, through the Next Generation funds of the European Union, which has a budget of more than 4,000 million euros.

Why is the price different for the first year and the renewal?

Launching a new online project involves a lot of effort and a lot of resources because you need to define very well what kind of structure you want and also the design and contents. In this phase, and during the first year of service duration, a professional will accompany you to advise you on the best decisions to make and will create the entire online project for you, be it a web page or a store, and we will be at by your side to advise and help you within the services offered by our website design company and managed changes.

After this first year of your project's life, and for future renewals of your service, you can decide whether you want us to continue offering you this assistance corresponding to the design services of your web page and changes managed by our company, or if, after trying our tools, you decide you can do the modifications yourself for a lower price.

Also, the price difference in the security kit in the first year is due to the initial configuration and device installation services, which are not included in future renewals.

When can the Digital Kit be requested?

The submission period is divided into three calls:

  • March 15, 2022 : first call for aid for Segment I, SMEs with 10 to 49 employees.
  • March – June 2022 : second call for grants of up to €6,000 per company for Segment II (companies with 3 to 9 employees).
  • Second half of 2022 : last call for grants of up to €2,000 for Segment III (self-employed).

These terms will conclude when the established budgets for each segment are exhausted. That is why these calls may be brought forward.

Can I use the help of the Digital Kit to replace a digitizing solution that my SME already has?

Yes. The Kit Digital voucher allows you to hire all the services necessary for your company, always Yes, but you must prove that the digital solution you choose will represent a functional improvement compared to the digital services your company already has. That is to say, that the digital solution that is replaced cannot lead to the progress of the services or the functionalities of the existing digital solution.

Can the Digital Kit be processed without VAT?

The Spanish system offers the possibility that certain businesses may be exempt from paying VAT on digital services due to the special tax regime, this knowledge is part of the comprehensive consultancy we offer.
