We are pleased to announce that Red.es has published in the Official State Gazette the long-awaited new call for the Digital Kit, aimed at the digitalization of joint property associations, shared ownership agricultural holdings and professional and civil companies with commercial purposesThis initiative will allow these entities to access their digital assets to boost their digital transformation and improve their competitiveness in the market.

Who will be able to benefit?
1. Joint property companies, civil companies with a commercial purpose, professional civil companies and agricultural holdings with shared ownership, whose tax domicile is located in Spanish territory, included in the Segments established in article 7.2 of the Regulatory Bases:
a) Segment I: Small businesses with 10 to fewer than 50 employees. €12,000
b) Segment II: Small or micro-enterprises with 3 to fewer than 10 employees. €6,000
c) Segment III: Small or micro-enterprises with 0 to fewer than 3 employees. €2,000
2. They must be registered in the Census of Entrepreneurs, Professionals, and Withholding Agents of the State Tax Administration Agency or in the equivalent census of the Provincial Tax Authority, which must reflect the economic activity actually carried out on the date of the aid application, and must have been registered for at least six months, as stipulated in Article 8.1. b) of the Regulatory Bases.
3. In addition, beneficiaries must meet the remaining requirements established in Article 8 of the Regulatory Bases:
a) Not be considered a company in crisis in accordance with the provisions of Article 2.18 of Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 and Commission Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1237 of 23 July 2021, as set out in Annex II of the Regulatory Bases.
b) Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
c) Not be subject to a pending recovery order following a previous decision by the European Commission declaring aid unlawful and incompatible with the common market.
d) Not be subject to any of the other prohibitions provided for in Article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies Act. These prohibitions also apply to companies that, due to the individuals who manage them or other circumstances, may be presumed to be a continuation or derived, through transformation, merger, or succession, from other companies in which the former have participated.
e) Not exceed the minimum aid limit, in accordance with the provisions of article 2.4 of the Regulatory Bases.
f) Have the Digital Maturity Level assessment, according to the diagnostic test available on the Accelera pyme platform (https://www.acelerapyme.gob.es/).
4. Annex I of this Call establishes the documentation necessary to prove compliance with the requirements indicated above, as well as the form and time of its presentation.

Who cannot benefit?
a) Natural or legal persons who are Adhered Digitalizing Agents, nor those with whom they contract or subcontract for the provision, in whole or in part, of digitalization solutions, in accordance with article 7.4 of the Regulatory Bases.
b) Self-employed persons who are considered corporate self-employed persons or collaborating self-employed persons, under the terms provided for in the applicable regulations, in accordance with article 7.4 of the Regulatory Bases.
c) Temporary business associations (UTE), in accordance with article 7.4 of the Regulatory Bases.
d) Natural or legal persons who have obtained the status of beneficiaries in any of the calls for the Digital Kit Program.

f) Professional associations, civil societies (with the exception of civil societies with a commercial purpose and professional civil societies), communities of owners under a horizontal property regime or any other type of economic unit or separate assets that do not have legal personality.
Since when can you make the request?
Applications will be open starting September 12th through the Red.es website. This new call has an initial budget of €100 million, which can be increased, and aims to improve the competitiveness and digital maturity of these entities.
The details of this new call for proposals can be found in the Official State Gazette (BOE), which includes the requirements for applying for the grants, the obligations of the beneficiaries, the significant maximum grant amounts for each category of digitalization solutions, the justification, payment, and monitoring of the implementation of the solutions, among other aspects.
When is the submission deadline?
It will remain open until December 31, 2024, and we are pleased to be an active part of this new call for proposals and offer our support and expertise to organizations wishing to go digital and apply for this grant.
